Mr J Russell - Cedar Class Teacher      Mrs A Bugle- Teaching Assistant

Dear Parents,

Welcome back! I hope that you all had a restful and enjoyable summer. Firstly, if you would like an overview of our Topic this term, please take a moment to look at the Topic Web below. This outlines the curriculum links, aims and detail of our learning this term. Beneath it, you should also find our timetable for a normal week.

Our first point of contact will be on Monday 10th September when I will be holding a Parent Meeting in Cedar classroom at 3:30pm. The purpose of this is to set out my expectations for home learning, spelling and reading over the course of the next year. If you aren’t able to attend, then you are welcome to come and see me separately.

The Autumn term is vitally important for the children in Year 5 and 6, given the sheer volume of work that is expected of them. I will do my very best, however, to ensure that this term (and indeed, the whole year) is as interesting and inspiring as possible. If you have any immediate concerns or a problem that arises during the course of the next few months, then my door is always open.

-Mr Russell
